WILDFLOWERS invites the reader to take a journey with Chloe Davis Michaels as she experiences a rollercoaster ride of love, hate, fear and family.  After only a short time of anticipated marital bliss, Chloe realizes in Gregory Robinson III, she has found the devil reincarnated.  His mood swings and temper are frightening at best, and Chloe questions her poor judgment.  Will she allow this demonic man to control her life?

Chloe finds a peaceful retreat when she returns home to the love and warmth of her close-knit family who refuse to let her fall or wallow in her private pity party.  She soon discovers that her sisters, Fawn and Eve, are dealing with their own private hell.  Nontheless, they all pull together and epitomize the real meaning of strength.  These African American aunts, cousins and sisters truly show what does not kill you will definitely make you stronger.

Ms. Leflore writes very vividly and draws the reader into the trials and tribulations of each of the characters.  The reader gets a real sense of the importance and the power of sisterhood and family.  This book is an excellent read and a follow up would be welcome.
