When I'm With You by LaConnie Taylor-Jones RAW Rating: 5.0 (out of 5) Love At Its Best WHEN I'M WITH YOU is a story about love at first sight and how far a man will go to have the woman of his lifetime by his side. LaConnie Taylor-Jones shows us what true love is when it is in its purest form. Marcel Baptiste is born into a wealthy family who owns a top-notch car dealership. He takes pride in being the CEO of this company, but he also takes pride in helping out his community. But, when he meets a woman who not only doesn't mind telling him no and isn't willing to do all the things he's use to, he's impressed at what she represents, but he's also interested. After living in fear and running for her life, Caitlyn Thompson almost has a mental breakdown. She is now hiding from her past, away from her family and all she knows. Because of incidents in her past, Caitlyn finds it hard to trust anyone. When Marcel enters her life and takes it by storm, she does not know whether to be fearful or to simply trust him. WHEN I'M WITH YOU was a story that would make anyone laugh and cry. It took me by surprise Taylor-Jones is a new writer. She made the characters come to life on paper, and remind you of who you're close to and hold true and dear. Reading this story allows you to see the author has plenty up her sleeves with the Baptiste family and their antics. She takes a topic most authors do not know how to properly execute and makes it a subconflict in her story, but she does it with ease and grace making sure not to overpower the story.
