Living as the opposite sex
THE OPPOSITE SEX is a witty graphic novel that shows what happens when karma attempts to teach its lesson in life, but turns worlds upside down.
Michael Chandler was a former little league all-star, but when a devastating family loss causes an emotional breakdown, he walks away from the pro-jock status and dedicates his life to science. Michael becomes an academic superstar and the nerd of the school. Dedicating his life to finding the DNA solution to terminal illness, he forgets what it is to actually live his life and when science takes its chances on Michael, he finds himself looking at the female version of himself.
Michael decides to do things differently and lives the life of a normal female teen by making friends, dating, and experiencing the emotions of what it is to be a female. When he returns to the male version of himself, he has a new respect for himself, as well as, the opposite sex and understands the need to live his life for what it's worth. He also learns a valuable lesson: some thing's in life just are meant to be.
Sam Grant takes you on an adventure of when science goes wrong and the complexity of various situations. The novel is a quick read it's full of laughter and the anticipation of what else will happen at Westside High School. THE OPPOSITE SEX teaches valuable lessons and offers laughter as the main character goes through three months of being a female and coming into her own.
