The Get A Life Campaign by Tyeese Gaines Reid RAW Rating: 4.0 (out of 5) Life is What You Make It Almost everyone experiences times in their lives where they feel as if they are stuck in a rut and life isn't quite the way they want it to be. In THE GET A LIFE CAMPAIGN, author Tyeese Gaines Reid offers tools to help women recapture or achieve a richer, fuller life. She begins by identifying some of the roadblocks, such as lack of time and financial constraints that keep women from making the most of their lives. Next she begins to offer constructive suggestions about how to keep each of the roadblocks from impeding happiness. To do lists, schedules, and suggestions for healthy snacks, are among the practical tools provided in the book. In addition, the author provides exercises that assist the reader in identifying ways they waste time and establishing goals based on personal strengths and weaknesses. There are also suggestions on how readers can stretch their budget, develop a more active social life, and relax more. Although much of the material in the book is common-sense and there isn't any groundbreaking approach to living a better life unveiled, THE GET A LIFE CAMPAIGN is an inspiring book. The author deconstructs many of the excuses we give ourselves for not having the life we want, and then offers worksheets, tools, and advice on how to actively pursue happiness.
