Can you keep a secret?
Biance Watson, a college professor, finds her beloved father, a minister, dead at the bottom of the stairs and immediately her life changes. She breaks up with her fiancé and becomes involved with a group of women she thinks can help her. These women, some with influential husbands and plenty of money, have a secret organization that takes care of people who they feel no longer need to exist. Biance thinks she knows who killed her father and why, and she is determined to get revenge. These women can help her, even though her conscience rises on occasion and torments her for what she is doing.
Secretly they meet and plan the demise of the Governor of the state. He has many sins to his credit and a lot of people would like to see him gone. Unfortunately, someone has broken the circle and an outsider apparently knows what is going on. It becomes necessary to move their meeting location and talk with the one sister they feel might be the guilty party. Naturally, she denies it. Tragedy has taken place because of the leak and the sisters search for answers. Will they all get arrested?
THE CIRCLE OF SISTERS by Tanya C. Cloud gives life to a fantasy that I am sure many have: how to get rid of the bad boys without anyone knowing. The characters were well-developed and definitely understandable. They had money, were professional women and they knew what they wanted and how to go about getting it. Unfortunately, it tended to move slowly toward the ultimate goal.
