Dr. Tolliver has just agreed to do a favor for his patient, Linda. Linda is a car accident victim and needs to inform her daughter, so she asks Dr. Tolliver to do so. When she first asked, he can’t believe or understand what she just told him. He remembers she’s never had children, so who is this mysterious daughter she wants to inform? Not sure what to expect, he goes to the farm and is surprised to find his patient’s daughter, who just happens to be quite attractive and alluring.
Jodie has lived on her family farm all her life and her mother has taught her the city is too big and can be a dangerous place. Linda kept her sheltered from those dangers on the family farm. She continuously asks questions and has desires to experience life outside her farm. Expecting her mother’s return home and becoming concerned when she hasn’t, she attempts to put her mind at ease only to be interrupted by a knock at her front door. When she answers the door there stands the tall and attractive Dr. Tolliver and she’s soon faced with some choices in life and love.
JODIE’S CHOICE by Deatri King-Bey is the story of a young woman who has the courage to make life and love choices she thought never would happen. She descriptively portrays Jodie’s journey of choices vividly. A love story laced with deceit, betrayal and lies that will keep you intrigued until the end.
