A Sexual Family Curse

In IN MY PRAYERS WITH MY LEGS WIDE OPEN, readers travel on a spiritual journey of a woman who can't control her carnal desires, be faithful to her God-fearing husband and learn to put the past to rest.

Three generations ago, a voodoo curse was put on Jasmine James-Brooks's great-great-great grandmother and was passed down to all the female offspring which caused the women never to be satisfied by one man.  Raised in Louisiana by her father along with the help of his mother, Grandma Pauline, Jasmine was taught, at an early age, to always take control and to use her womanhood to get anything she wanted.   Jasmine witnessed her grandmother's extramarital relationships and promised herself she wouldn't follow in her footsteps.  But after the death of Grandma Pauline, teenaged Jasmine craved attention from her father and because he didn't give it to her, she began her sexual journey.

At thirty-eight years old, Jasmine is now married to a handsome, sexy, God-fearing man named Darius. Their love for each other is so strong Darius will do whatever it takes to keep Jasmine happy. However Jasmine's sexual desires can possibly destroy their marriage. During one of her sexual encounters, Jasmine grows a conscience and finally realizes her affairs are wrong, but she can't control herself.  So, she decides to take it to the Lord.

IN MY PRAYERS WITH MY LEGS WIDE OPEN is a sensual book with a spiritual message. It is a story of one woman's battle with sexual addiction and her prayer to God for strength to walk a righteous path, to do what is pleasing to Him and to love the man God has given her.

For a book that has just a little over 100 pages, the story didn't lack any substance.  With only a few editorial errors, this book is definitely a page-turner with well-developed characters and Ms. Williams added a few twists which made the book even more enjoyable.  I can't wait to read the sequel.
