Meet Chase, who’s hired to work as a digital banker at DelStar Bank. The reader embarks on a journey with Chase as she recalls the zany craziness behind the walls of a call center. We follow her during her short employment as she’s being trained on computers using DOS and it’s the 21st century; working with supervisors “soops” who don’t know anything and constantly watching their time away from the desk; and her untimely exit.
There were moments in the book I could relate, such as the infamous break room and the white microwave with the dial timer. The book is fast-paced and the author writes using madcap fonts. HANDLE TIME is hilarious!
