RAW Rating: 4.5 (out of 5)

Do you have dreams of owning a business and getting rich in the process? If so, then, FROM GUTTER TO GLORY: A Broke Man's Guide to Starting a Business by Terrence Warren is the book for you. He starts from the very beginning, explaining in detail exactly what you need to do to succeed in starting your own business including clues on your mental attitude about getting started. Starting a business on the internet seems to be where his expertise lies and he not only tells you how to do it, he gives you sites to research, examples of a good business and pitfalls to avoid. If you're not really computer savvy, he gives explanations that are easy to understand and he defines his terminology. Warren also shows that you are still in America by describing a case of discrimination because people couldn't believe a young black man wasn't a thug trying to get over on a bank.

If you are planning to start an internet business or a vending machine business, this is the book for you. Not only is it good for the start up, it can be referred to when problems arise. Warren is very thorough in his discussions. I would recommend this book for those interested in starting any type of business.
