Loretta Mathis did all the right things to improve her life. She graduates from college, falls in love with a college student and tries to find a good job. Even with degrees, neither she nor her new boyfriend, Born could find a job that paid enough for them to live in the type of home they wanted. Born loves Loretta and wants her to have the best, so to help support his girl and to take care of their bills he begins to sell drugs. Eventually he becomes a master at dealing and makes the kind of money that brings out enemies and foes.

Although Loretta did not agree with Born selling drugs she is living a very comfortable life. Pregnant and weary, she constantly worries about Born and desperately wants him out of the drug game. But once a hustler, it is hard to stop because of the money and power you achieve.

DIDN'T SEE THIS COMING is a good book. I found myself engrossed in the story line and loving the activities surrounding the story. It is drama-filled with cold-blooded antics. The only thing I didn't like was the font size and too many detailed descriptions in the narration of the story. S.C. Crews has written a book that is sure to keep readers engrossed to the last page.
