Alexandra Lyons is one of the best assassins in the Secret Service and she does it with no remorse; cold blooded. One assassination goes badly and something explodes, blowing her into unconsciousness. When she awakens, she is someone else. She is now Camilla Angelson, a writer and a nice, kind person. At a party in a new restaurant, she meets Josh Mayer, the owner, and there is an immediate attraction between them. Josh, who recently retired from the Secret Service, has opened the restaurant with a friend of his. He is also recovering from a nasty divorce.

When Camilla leaves the party, an attempt is made on her life and she doesn’t know why. How long will this go on? Will her memory ever come back? And if it does, will she continue to be Camilla, or will she revert to being Alexandra?

Rae Lori has penned an exciting thriller with a lot of suspense and even a peek into the unfortunate actions of the government and after what we’ve read and heard in the press the actions ring very true. Tender romance is included as well. The characters are well developed and it is easy to keep up with them, even with different personas. It is a book well worth sitting back and enjoying.
