Seeking solitude from his matchmaking mother, Luke Grayson, a successful private investigator, retreats to his cabin in the mountains of Mexico.  Unbeknownst to him, a beautiful gun-toting woman awaits on the other side of the cabin door.

After an attack, child psychologist and author, Dr. Catherine Stewart needed some time away from the city to heal and to prepare for a speaking engagement in Mexico.  A good friend offers her peace and tranquility at an unoccupied cabin in the mountains.  However, her first night of peace is interrupted by a handsome mountain of a man.

UNTIL THERE WAS YOU is a true romance novel.  There are several things I love about this novel.  I love how Ray made Luke and Catherine’s characters always stay at odds with each other, but let their passion go so deep neither could deny it; the love they both displayed for family and friends, and compassion for others.  Ray's style of writing is colorful and descriptive, making it easy for me to imagine the characters and the scenes.  There are several subplots in the novel and the author does an awesome job intertwining them without losing me, and creating a perfect stage of romance, suspense and light humor.

UNTIL THERE WAS YOU is a quick, but refreshing read.  Have you ever smiled after reading the last page of a book?  I did after reading UNTIL THERE WAS YOU.
