A fantastic read Terrance Ellis is the prominent Pastor of a growing congregation. As a young single man, he is catching a lot of flack from the deacons and members who are questioning his sexuality. When Terrance starts spending time with Savannah McKinney, his decision faces opposition; she is not suitable for becoming the First Lady because of her unsavory reputation. Terrance finds Savannah refreshing and feels, if given the chance, she can win over his aunts and the members of Lily Grove. His aunts, however, are not having it. They make matchmaking plans of their own, which almost cost them their relationship with Terrance. When Savannah feels her relationship with Terrance may be threatened, she steps up her game to secure her place. The results may prove damaging to their relationship and Terrance’s position as pastor. Billingsley has created three-dimensional characters with flaws, who are on a quest to find love and validation, in her latest release, THE PASTOR’S WIFE. She seamlessly combines humorous situations with matters as serious as domestic abuse and spirituality. Her style is thought provoking, not preachy, which gives her books universal appeal. The antics of the characters propel the plot and makes for a really fun read.
