Wow! It’s over but all good series must come to an end. The Hightower Honor Series ended with a blast of fireworks. Patrick, the oldest of the Hightower brothers, is happy all of his brothers have found the right lady and started families. He loves his life as a firefighter, big brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. He has no desire to be in a relationship of any type, as he is still dealing with a past hurt. Aisha Miller, dealing with her own past, has her life back on track - teaching kindergarten, trying recipes from the Food Network, and raising her energetic ten-year old son. She is determined to stay away from abusive men, never giving another man a chance to abuse her verbally or hurt her physically.
A field trip for her kindergarten class to the fire station run by Captain Patrick Hightower gives new meaning to the words, protect, serve, love, trust, jealousy, and family. Aunt Sophie is still up to her old tricks, meddling in her nephews' lives and trying to destroy her brother’s marriage to Celia.
Each book in the Hightower series is well written, with characters and situations that are real and believable. Gwyneth Bolton has once again taken us down the road of twists and turns onto the street of drama, leaving us speechless.
SIZZLING SEDUCTION is a stand-alone book, but in order to get the full impact of the Hightower series, I suggest you read the complete series in this order, Protect and Serve, Make It Hot, and The Law of Desire. Gwyneth, I have to ask, will Terrell and Maritza have their own story?
