When some poets press the pen, it bleeds their soul.  Their emotions are captured in an inexplicable way, leaving the reader able to feel their angst, comprehend their joy or sob at their pure pain.

Susie McCray is that type of poet.

In SEE WHAT I SEE, Susie McCray's writing takes the reader on an emotional journey with every pen stroke. I am unbelievably proud of her father, sad at the devastation of her family, distraught by her overwhelmed mother, encouraged by her trying-hard grandmother and impressed by a mother who, despite it all, discovers pure love in the birth of her son.  Her poetry captures the real life struggles of a young girl attempting to carry the world on her shoulders.  Her pieces demonstrate love's purity, when you find that awaited exhale who doesn't judge or compare you, but loves the beauty within.  She captures the frustration of childbirth and the unbelievable surge of awe and thankfulness for a child.

Must read poems are Break Up To Make Up, My Everything, Broken Home Broken Heart Part I and II, Deliver Me Now, Love Proven and A Change is Coming. Susie McCray's ease with words and truthful delivery set her apart, she is a poet to remember.
