A perfect combination
Dr. Alexander “Alex” Carlisle is a renowned pediatric doctor with a thriving practice who married the love of his life six months after they met. He was living the American Dream with a great career, perfect wife and two beautiful children. When a car accident takes the life of his wife, the child she was carrying and his best friend, Alex thought his life was over.
Twenty-year-old Samantha married the man of her dreams against her parents wishes. Not only was Greg Taylor ten years older than her, he had sole custody of his child from his previous marriage. However, Samantha proved to be mature enough to handle both marriage and motherhood. She was extremely happy and excited about giving birth to Greg’s second child. Unfortunately, Samantha’s world came tumbling down when she loses her husband and her sister in a car accident. At the young age of twenty-five, Samantha Taylor became a widow with two children.
For the past three years, Alex has admired his sister-in-law, Samantha from afar. Determined to make her see that she could no longer live in the past, Alex puts a plan in motion to be a part of Samantha’s future. Will Alex’s plan work? Or will the secret Alex is hiding be revealed before his plan is accomplished?
Samantha is determined to fight her feelings for Alex. She even goes as far as arranging a date for him with one of her friends. When the date is a success, Samantha finds herself angry and jealous. Can Samantha let go of her past and build a future with Alex? Or will outside forces continue to come between them?
Sylvia Lett has written a good book with an interesting storyline and likeable characters. I found myself totally absorbed in the characters and as a bonus, Lett adds suspense to their love story. PERFECT FOR YOU is my first book by this talented author and I look forward to reading her future books.
