Damien and Althea’s eyes met over a crowded room at a local nightspot, where Damien was supposed to be celebrating his birthday with his co-workers, all  FBI agents.  However, the heat the two emulated was too hot to ignore and the celebration went to a private location and the two engaged in their own birthday commemoration.  Neither thinking it was more than two consenting adults engaging in a one-night stand. But imagine what happens Monday morning when they realize they work for the same FBI field office and they will be partners.

A local teen socialite has been abducted and her kidnapping is reminiscent of Althea’s own abduction eight years prior.  With the similarities, Damien and Althea have their work cut out for them as the trail to the abductor gets stranger and eerily creepier.  Also, the couple acknowledges their one-night stand and vow to not allow it to happen again; they do not want to compromise the case or their jobs. But it is easier said than done.

NO ONE BUT YOU is an intense romance with 'on edge' suspense as readers try to decipher who is involved in the kidnapping and how far they are willing to go for their ultimate goal.  The romance is sexy and passionate.  The characters are well-developed and the pacing made it a true page-turner.  Although there are characters from the first novel involving the Wade brothers, it is a stand- alone story, but I would encourage readers to read the first one in the series because it was just as strong as NO ONE BUT YOU.
