Samantha Skylar, CEO of Skylar Pharmaceuticals, radiates beauty and success. However, her employees, refer to her as “Grand Dragon” because of her stern work policies and no nonsense lifestyle. Past failed relationships have harden her heart, but when she interviews Elijah McCray for a strategic position in her company, she’s finds his sexiness and straight-forward persona intriguing.
Elijah wanted Samantha the moment he first laid eyes on her. Her standoffish ways didn’t deter him, but made him more persistent to warming her heart to fall in love with him. In the meantime, someone is viciously trying to destroy Samantha and her company and it’s a race against time to find the culprit before she loses everything.
Although MASQUERADE is a short story, the plot flows smoothly and consistently, and the characters and their actions are described in vivid detail. Bursting with drama, romance, secrets, and suspense, MASQUERADE will surely tantalize the senses of romance readers.
