Justine, Holly and Simone have been friends since college. There's just one minor problem with their friendship; what Simone wants, Simone gets, even if the object of her desire is your man.
One evening while blowing off some steam at the club, Justine meets Lucas. The attraction between the two of them is incredible, causing Lucas to immediately surrender his player's card. Though Lucas only has eyes for Justine, Simone is determined to have him for herself, no matter the cost. Who cares if she's been down this road before? What does it matter if Justine is supposed to be "her girl"? Simone shows she will go to any lengths to take Lucas away from the sweet, get-everything-she-wants, even-though-she-doesn't-deserve-it, Justine. Will it pay off for Simone in the end? Who will be the last woman standing after the dust of lust and disloyalty settles?
In KARMA, Ms. Eubanks spins a mysterious web of treachery and betrayal. Readers will be immediately drawn into the hot romance between Justine and Lucas, and caught on the edge of their seats as Simone draws Lucas further and further into her clutches with each forbidden sexual advance. Ms. Eubanks did a good job delivering this installment and I look forward to reading more about these characters in KARMA II.
