Staying True To One Self Simple and smart Stephanie Pointer falls in love with Ricky Powers, a star college football player, and puts her life on hold to help him achieve being drafted. Once he's drafted, their love takes an interesting twist when they get too invested into the world of money and power. Stephanie gets caught up, but has to decide what is more important: loving herself or loving her man. INTERCEPTIONS introduces the reader to love, loss, and redemption, but it also offers words of encouragement, old and new. It offers a very realistic look at life for those women who believe in going to college to find their Mr. Perfect. It also also helps one realize that life is not something that can be achieved on the fast track alone, because you must first know yourself.
Staci Robinson takes the game of football and brings it to a level any woman can comprehend. It is easy to understand the life of football players and the women who stand beside them. Robinson has also crafted an amazing character. Stefanie Pointer is a sister anyone can fall in love with. Not only does she display the characteristics it takes to survive, but Robinson makes her so realistic it allows the reader to cry, laugh, and cheer for her to make it through. Staci Robinson has definitely won me over with this one.
