Holy Matrimony

The fate of Christian marriages is in crisis. Divorce rates among the children of God rivals those of the secular world. Although Christians are armed with the power of prayer, a lot of times we don’t take God’s warning about being in a relationship with an unbeliever to heart. This is oftentimes the root cause of what Latasha G. Hines refers to as toxic relationships.

I LOVE HIM LORD, BUT HE’S NOT A CHRISTIAN is an excellent guide for those who are looking to date and eventually marry. Supported by scripture that conveys strong loving relationships between a man and a woman, this guide can help easily identify where relationships may have gone wrong. It also shares sound, spiritual advice on how to approach a relationship the right way – God’s way.

I LOVE HIM LORD, BUT HE’S NOT A CHRISTIAN spoke to me on so many levels. The book was so good, I wanted to devour it in one setting; but I believe Hine’s intent was for the reader to savor the writing, along with studying the bible and spending time in prayer. Hines shared points I never considered in regards to my relationship with God and the relationships I had in the past. This book is an excellent resource for a singles ministry or just for individual study before embarking on a new relationship. I also feel it can be a helpful aide for couples who are going through pre-marital counseling or those who are seeking to strengthen their marriage.
